T.M.M #3

“In order to take the next step, you are going have to take other great people flock together with you, without being intimidated by their greatness”

Bishop TD Jakes

This quote speaks volumes. Taking the next step in life varies, some are easy to take, some are so complex we don’t know where we stop.it in my good intention, that if i’m progressing, i’d like to take people around me, up with me but it can be said that they may hold you back in progression. its up to us, to determine who and what we need. So it is important to surround ourselves with great people. It gives us better mentality, more focus and purpose in life. It very often that we distract ourselves with other people success, since sometimes we wish the same. But its important to have self focus and maintain our aim in life. so as the quote say, progress with great people but don’t let their success block your aim in success.
It doesn’t matter if you are religious or not, i’ve been watching alot of TD Jakes recently and his speeches are inspirational as well as good to watch, I would recommend this to anyone
Here is one example, take care guys 🙂

Need For Speed Underground 3?

So this came out

First thoughts, it seems like Need For Speed are sort of listening. I see a rocket bunny 180sx
 And a RWD or RWB body kit I think on the 911
The graphics look amazing though, if it is actual game play, but most likely a render. The story seems to look like based around the classic cops vs racers. However I think its too early to judge this game from the teaser. There has been rumours that there could be over 700 combinations of customisation which sounds good but not fond of hearsay. All in all the car has started but will it move like it did before. I’ll be keeping a close eye on it. Roll on 15th of June, where there will be a gameplay trailer.

T.M.M #2 ‘The Greatest Oak Was Once A Little Nut That Held Its Ground’

“The Greatest Oak Was Once A Little Nut That Held Its Ground!”

                      Taken from WolfGang Riebe

A simple to understand quote, that doesn’t need re-alliterating but is also glossed over 9 times out of 10. Many believe if they do something, for example start a business, they will get the rewards of it, instantly, when really it take, time…. a lot of it! Yes there are some exceptions where businesses turnover profits, hand over fists, but it important to remember that its is very rare and people need to thing from a realistic point of view. Most first time businesses have the same thought of creating the business and not look at how they will go about their business, to get to that high financial achievement. Instead they fixate on the high proposed, financial achievement. Due to this, they don’t focus on researching the business or scope and rush to get into business. Even from a individual point of view, if you don’t revise for an exam, you are going to fail.

Sometimes many start up business are heavily criticised, especially when they bring a spin on a existing idea. Take Mr Christian von Koenigsegg when he started the Koenigsegg car brand. He had a vision of create the ultimate hyper car but with his own personal touches and practicality. This became the first prototype called the CC. When it was relieved around the year 2000, it was criticised from all angles. Some said it was a ludicrous idea which would not last long, some even criticised Christian himself despite being highly knowledgeable about engineering at a young age, as well as teaching himself about the fundamental of engineering. Despite this, Christian wasn’t going to allow a few remarks derail him.

Fast forward to today, he has made a unique brand making fast cars, beautiful and putting major car manufacturers to shame. This was also reflected with his development of the cars, where they used parts, for example the 4.7 litre engine in the CC was based from Ford, where now, Koenigsegg make their own engines, so good in face, they seek patents on their superchargers which had the ability to deliver power almost instantly, like the car was had a naturally aspired engine. Currently they are producing the Regera which had a 5 litre V8 which has twin turbo and 3 electric motors. It is rumoured to be faster than its Agera R model.

Going back to the quote. if you have a solid idea in business, excellent, just remember that you must stick with this idea, through thick and thin as well as being conscious that, it takes time to be established. Also do not allow people to deter you from your idea, the more you allow them to deter you, the more you’ll start to believe it yourself. Finally don’t pray high and aim low. What is the point of saying your going to do ‘X’ amount of work but end up doing nothing when it comes to it! So put in that work and aim high!

Tune Thursdays #1

Hey guys, how is it going?

Going to attempt to start another segment in the blog called Tune Thursdays. This is just basically highlighting a particular song over the week and talking about it. I’ll be honest, I like all genres of music, rock, rap, hip-hop, you name it. If it sounds good to me, i’ll listen to it. At the end of the day, music is a form of art that should be appreciated. Yes there will be some songs that are not appealing as other may find it, but we shouldn’t belittle people based on the music they listen to, heck you shouldn’t belittle people, period!

So, yeah as i was saying i was a heavy head banger to rock before bopping my head to the beats of r’n’b, hip-hop and rap. So, from one end of the scale I am a MASSIVE! fan of Linkin Park, Chester if you are reading this, please come and perform in the UK and not at festivals can’t stand them, as well as the odd Feeder, Red Hot Chilli Peppers and Stereophonics, compared to the other end of the scale we have Action Bronson, Yelawolf, Mac Miller, J Cole and Kid Ink, not so much Kid Ink, more of his older music.

Enough about my weird music taste and onwards to this weeks Tune Thursday and its Lenny Kravitz – Are You Gonna Go My Way

A real iconic song from the early 90s, I may not have been old enough to know who Lenny Kravitz was, but it was a song you heard on the radio and really sticks to my mind. The early 90s, for me, was a time of struggle, parents were married and came to the UK with no money, government denied them benefits and to some extent to work. My dad just kept his head down and worked and worked. There came a point where i only saw my dad a couple of hours a month. This song reminds me about no matter how hard you work, there will be good times ahead. If anything being poor was a great life lesson, it taught me about not seeing money as money but more as a freedom values. You spend the money, you’re spending your freedom, and i take this lesson to this very day. So while most people my age are skint as soon as they get money, yet criticise someone like me who has back up money as well as ISAs and income.

Also it a great song to start an early morning walking to the train and, even though he was American, the music seems fitting, putting a smile on my face as i walk though London and cramming my way through the underground.

Hope you like this blog post and this new series, maybe, let me know, any criticism is good. Before I end this, i am going to post a Spotify Playlist of the music i’m listening to current, see if you notice any links in the music in there and let me know if you sussed it out

Thanks for reading and peace 🙂

The Monday Motivation #1

Hey Guys,

Hope all is well and have a great Monday, no matter how hard it is or how much we rather be in bed, but nevertheless, I will be starting a weekly blog post every Monday to give out quotes that will stick with you for the rest of the week and give you the energy for the rest of the week ( or end up boring you week in, week out XD).

So the first quote for the first week of T.M.M, is this one from Wolfgang Riebe which is;

“If you can’t see the bright side of life,

polish the dull side”

Life is as good as it will be unless we take control of it. Its not going to pre-lay your future unless you make it your future. There is always going to be a time, in our lives, where we just hit a bump so hard, it throws us into a stand still. Most of the time we don’t tend to blame the individual issues in life, we rather lump it all together in a ball of pain and blame life. The more we blame/hate ‘life’, the more its going to suck, and it’ll keep sucking until you enter the pool of depression, no one wants that.

So how do we overcome this? Is there are way to come out of this positive? Of course there is! But it takes time, with most things in life, you won’t know how long or short it will take, you just know its positive when you realise and take a notice of positive outcomes. The main thing is to turn a negative into a positive. For example;

“The boss has given me extra work, i don’t see why i have to do it and everyone else gets less”

See this statement, it sucks when it happens and it seems easier to scream till your red in the face. But instead of seeing this as hard work for you, see it as an opportunity. Instead of seeing it as more work compared to other, see it in another light like

“i’m only trusted to do this job not others”

Or;

“More work, more time to use, more quicker i can get home”

You maybe reading this and think, get lost I’m not going to do extra work and think positive about it! I know, I know, but if you are willing to sacrifice a little, this what separates the boys from the men, the girls from the women, You become a man/woman when you handle your own, and you can handle your own when you become a man/woman.

Some food for thought. I would like to say, I have been reading a lot from Wolfgang Riebe and he is a good read, so if you guys get bored or want to take a break from technology, give him a ‘Google’ and check him out.

Thanks for reading hope to see you again next Monday, have a safe week,

Peace
